Emergency First Aid

This is a one-day emergency first aid course. 

Course Description

Course content:  

  

• Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider  

• Initial safety and care  

• Unconscious casualty – adult, child and infant  

• AED instruction  

• Choking training  

• Bleeding control  

• Heart Attack  

• Diabetes  

• Epilepsy  

• Fractures, sprains and strains  

• Shock  

• Minor injuries including cuts, grazes, bruises, burns, scalds, splinters 

This first aid qualification is accepted in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is also accepted in many other countries. It is an ideal qualification to sit alongside Sport Governing Body Awards.
