Detailed Description

This is a one-day trip to visit the Police Tactical Training Unit at Winsford Headquarters. The activity will involve observation of police tactics in responding to a riot simulation. Some students will get the opportunity to participate in the “riot” simulation whilst others can observe from the observation balcony. The police involved will be using this as an opportunity to train or refresh their skills in Public Order Training (POT) for us on the frontline of policing. This is a rare opportunity to witness this and be involved.
